online registration INSTRUCTIONS
Please take a moment and read before beginning.
If you have any questions, please contact your FFA or 4H Leader.
This year we are required to send out a1099 for checks $600 and up. Because of this requirement, we must collect social security numbers for exhibitors.
This data is collected and kept secure through Showorks.
1. Sign In- CHOOSE:
A. EXHIBITOR - you only have 1 child to register. ALL POTENTIAL EXHIBITORS MUST BE REGISTERED. You will sign up as a NEW EXHIBITOR each and every year. The system WILL NOT save your information from previous years.
B. QUICK GROUP - you have more than 1 child to register. Save time by setting up a family group AND THEN adding in exhibitors. This will allow you to pay for everyone in 1 transaction. DO NOT USE A CHILD'S NAME FOR YOUR GROUP NAME. Use something like "Smith Family". After setting up group, add the first exhibitor and their entries. Then add the next exhibitor, etc. See screenshot 1 and screenshot 2.
2. Add entries
There is a place to add family member's names under 'Family Tag with'. For example, if you have 3 children showing sheep but are unsure of which child will be showing which sheep, you can register each child for a sheep and then add the other 2 children's names under 'Family Tag with'.
***Keep in mind--ALL EXHIBITORS MUST BE REGISTERED! e.g. If you have 3 children but only 2 pigs and are unsure which 2 children will be showing, YOU MUST REGISTER ALL 3 CHILDREN so each child is eligible to show. (Register 2 of the children with animals and the 3rd child with zero animals, thus only paying for 2 animals)
***You may purchase an additional animal tag if needed. e.g. If you have a child showing a goat and have 2 goats that you will choose from at fair time, you can purchase an additional animal tag for $10 and tag both goats.
Because every exhibitor showing chickens MUST purchase a minimum of 1 box of 25 chicks, we decided to INCLUDE 1 box of chicks to the initial registration fee. Each exhibitor registering to show poultry will be charged $64 ($20 reg. fee plus $44 for one box of chicks). Additional boxes of chicks may be purchased on step 3 "items".

If you created a "Quick Group", your page will look like this.
Now just begin adding exhibitors and entries.
Use "Family Tag" to add sibling names which will allow you to choose exhibitor at fair time.
PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER THAT SAME ANIMAL AGAIN UNDER THE OTHER CHILDREN.
If your animal has already been tagged at the time you register, you may add the tag numbers. If you have already registered, the person who tags your animal will write down your tag number and get it to us.
This is the page where you will be able to purchase additional animal tags & additional chickens (1box is included w/ initial registration).
**If you are raising extra animals so that you can choose the best to show at fair time, you must still tag in the animal by buying an additional animal tag.
If you created a "quick group" and you have added the first exhibitor and now need to add the next exhibitor, click the bottom button "add entries for a different exhibitor".
THIS PAGE IS MOST IMPORTANT!
Look it over.
Be sure all of your kiddos are listed AND every animal. If you have a total of 4 animals, you should only have 4 listed (counting additional animal tags as an animal).
You can edit and/or delete from this page.
