Commercial Exhibit Barns & Outdoor Spaces Rules

  1. No food or open drinks will be sold in the barn.

  2. Cash, money order, or cashier’s check only please. Absolutely no refunds.

  3. SJC Fair Association is not responsible for loss or damages.

  4. Both indoor & outdoor spaces will be available.

  5. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed.

  6. Parking is not guaranteed.

  7. No trailers or other parking among spaces.

  8. Designated spaces will be marked.

  9. You will be required to clean up and move out of your space by 12 noon on the last Sunday of the fair.

  10. Space size is 10’ x 12’

  11. Spaces will rent for $100.00 each. Spaces under the show barn are on a concrete slab.

2024 SAN JACINTO CO. FAIR AND RODEO

Concession (Big White Buildings)

  1. All bids must be in writing and turned in by August 16, 2024. The highest bidder will be notified on August 23, 2024.

  2. There is a minimum bid for the stand in front of the carnival and the concession in front of the rodeo arena. The minimum bid for the Rodeo Concession Building is $2,500.00 and the minimum bid for Carnival Concession building is $1,200.00. You will be required to leave a deposit of $250.00 for the building. Deposits and rental fees must be paid by cashiers check, cash or money order. The deposit and half of the awarded bid amount must be paid and are due by September 6, 2024. No personal checks will be accepted.

  3. Please note that Health Certificates are required by law and are the responsibility of the vendor. You must provide a copy of your current Health Certificate to the Chairman prior to opening.

  4. The balance of the awarded bid is due in full by September 27, 2024, by cashier’s check, cash or money order. No personal checks will be accepted.

  5. All concession stands are rented as is. If any concession operator is caught pouring grease down sink drains your deposit may be withheld and will not be allowed to rent the building for future dates.

  6. You may not sell Cotton Candy or Funnel Cakes. (These are reserved for Carnival)

  7. The Fair Association would like to see building concessions open during the Livestock Shows that are held during the week for the youth that are showing animals and the spectators that are in attendance. Please take notice of the fair calendar which will have the dates and times of each of the Livestock Shows being held during the week of the fair.

2024 SAN JACINTO CO. FAIR AND RODEO

Concession Space Rental for Portable Stands

 

  1. All spaces are rented on a first pay basis and designated spaces will be marked prior to the start of the fair.

  2. All spaces will be $600.00 with an additional $50.00 for a cleanup deposit.  Both deposit and rental fees must be paid by cashiers check or money order. No personal checks. Deposit and fees due by August 16th, 2024, or sooner.

  3. Each space will be 40 foot long and 30 foot deep.

  4. Vendors are required to move on to the grounds on Friday, Sept. 20th, beginning at 9:00 am and ending at 1:00 pm. If you have not moved in by 1:00 pm on Sept. 20th, you will forfeit your spot and will not be given a refund. If you cannot make this time, call Chairperson.  Unforeseen circumstances will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

  5. Refunds on the $50.00 cleanup deposit will be mailed within sixty days.

  6. Please note that Health Certificates for Portable Stands are required by law and are the responsibility of the vendor.  You must provide a copy to the Committee Chairman prior to opening.

  7. Water and electricity will be furnished.  A single phase 50 amp electrical will be provided but the fair board is not responsible for any electrical issues beyond our 50-amp cord.  All vendors will provide their own 30-amp power cord. No extension cords will be allowed to power your whole unit.

  8. All spaces will be rented to only vendors who have a portable enclosed building.  You will not be allowed to sell out of anything that is not enclosed and no selling of food under canopies or pop up tents.

  9. San Jacinto County Fair Assoc. is not responsible for loss or damage and parking is not guaranteed.

  10.  You will be required to keep your area clean and keep trash picked up at all times.

  11.  Connection to water and electricity may begin Friday, Sept. 20th and you may open that night through Sept. 28th.

  12.  Move out day is Sunday, Sept. 29th. Power boxes will be picked up at 9:00 am. Please make other arrangements if you have food that will need to be kept cold after this point.

  13.  If bad weather or rain out occurs there will not be any refunds.
